Geylang
Went for supper at Geylang with Jason, Augustine and Yuri last night.
When we're done,
we saw this cute kitten on our to the car.
I called out to the kitten,
clicking my tongue and mewing to it.
It enthusiastically responded and came running towards us,
looking at us with its big innocent eye,
mewing the cutest meow it can,
and then we realised,
the kitty is running with a limp that seemed so painful!!
Yuri, with the big heart of hers immediately walked towards a food stall hoping to buy a big juicy fish to feed the kitty.
The moment she left, (I guess the kitty thought that we ignored her)
the kitty started to climb a tree!!!
A kitty, walking with a painful limp, climbing a tree?!?!
And it started to jump and horsing around on the tree!!!
.....I'm speechless.....
That behaviour reminds me of a human being acting crippled to gain sympathy from others!
My goodness...even cats are doing that act now.
What is this world coming to...
Who knows...
next time we might see a cat or dog playing a mini musical instrument,
doing a meow and woof christmas carol,
along orchard road...
