Fishing

We went out for a short fishing trip yesterday,
The weather wasn't so good though...

We're searching for a good location to fish.

This is not a good one...

I don't want to go home with any bird droppings on me.

So we decided on this jetty.

This is the first time i come to this jetty during the day time.

Jason usually fish late at night.

Jason and Augustine fishing while i looked on.

It was freezing there...

The ray of hope...

We stayed there for only 45 minutes.

But too bad.

They did not catch any fish or sotong.

No fresh fish or sotong for dinner :p

Dinner anyone...?

YYESSSS!!!!!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!
I'm finished my exams!!!
At long last...
It seems like forever.
I went to celebrate with Jason last night LOL
We watched 'Click'.
I like it!!!
I like Adam Sandler.
The movie really cracks me up and yet its touching.
The moral of the story...FAMILY COMES FIRST
Go watch it.
And we may be catching another movie,
'Over The Hedge'
YAY!!!

...............................................

On another note,
I'M HAVING MY VERY FIRST WISDOM TOOTH!!!!!
hehehehe
I sound like i'm giving birth to my first child.
But i'm really excited!
However, having heard those 'terror' stories of wisdom tooth removal,
i'm feeling a little nervous too.
I just hope everything goes smoothly.
But so far so good
:D

HBD bully in Singapore

I got to know this story of the poor HBD girl over the internet.
Blogs to be exact.
It was quite shocking actually...
and i'm really surprised that with the fact that
the girl and her parents don't want to pursue this matter,
with the girl saying she deserves the beatings as those bullies are 'doing her a favour'
and the father worrying about the bullies' future.
This is crazy.

I read it all here.
And i managed to find the video
but it's the edited version,
lasting for less than 2mins,
while the actual video lasted over 4minutes.
Geez...are those the future of Singapore???

Life of a international student...

It's not easy to be an 'international student'.
Away from home, love ones, food etc.
No one to help you around the house.
No mom or maid to do the domestic chores or to prepare a meal for me.
I've to do everything myself.
Cook, wash, laundry, chores, groceries shopping etcetc.
(P/s: most people don't seem to believe that i cook...
do i look like a spoilt kid or what???)
But the good thing is no more naggings from my parents hehehe.
(i can eat, sleep, study, and do whatever i want, whenever i want LOL)
People always think that studying overseas is like a walk in the park.
And usually, it's people who has never study overseas before have that mentality.

I repeat:
Its not easy to study overseas,
in an unfamiliar country where you're a minority there.
It's not easy to do everything by yourself, study and have no friends, family (and Tinky) with you.
At least i'm lucky to have Jason here with me.
My mom was saying:
"u cook ar...u go buy those instant food and heat up that's all izzit"
-_-"
...................
Anyway,
here's last night's dinner...

Steamboat using the rice cooker rather than the real hotpot thingy (don't want to spend money on it).

With homemade ice lemon tea.

And yes...

we eat right in front of the TV.

With no one to nag at us

muahahaha

its one of the few joys i have now...

AArrggghhhh!!!!!

Aarrggghhhh!!!!!
I have a pimple epidemic here!!!!
I shall put all the blame on my exams.

If not because of my exams,
i won't be deprived of sleep.
If not because of my exams,
i won't be eating all those junk food just to keep myself awake.
If not for my exams,
I'll be able to do whatever i want and not worry about studying.
If not for my exams,
i won't be so stressed out!!!

*gritting my teeth*

...I so detest the world of academics...

Chocolate Divine...

I recently bought a bar of chocolate

The name says it all...

It's fabulously divine.

Without a doubt.

I was reading its 'intro' at the back of the package before I purchased this chocolate,

it says:

"This delicious Lindt chocolate shell emrobes a delectably smooth filling.

Once you break it's shell,

the filling will start to melt,

and so will you."

I was laughing away, telling Jason,

"Oohhh...i really would like see how i melt..."

Well...

I went home, tried a piece and yeah, i melted...LOL

No kidding.

Not only because I'm quite a fan of dark, bitter chocolate,

but because it's really really good.

i feel like i'm drinking thick, rich chocolate.

Even Jason,

who is not a fan of dark chocolate at all and he seldom eat chocolate,

asked for a second piece.

I remember many many years ago,

my aunty bought us a box of chocolate from...erm...Switzerland??

I forgot where but it was from but its the best chocolate i've tasted in my whole life.

The chocolate has to be kept in the refrigerator.

Once you reach out to take a piece and close the refrigerator door,

the chocolate has already started to melt in your fingers.

Pop it into your mouth and you'll be drinking chocolate.

It was absolutely heaven.

Anyway,

go try the Lindt Lindor chocolate.

There's milk chocolate if you don't like dark chocolate.

The packaging is red in colour i think.

YUMMY...

Sleeplessness

I attempted to change my sleeping time yesterday.
My first paper is 830 in the morning,
next tuesday.
I've being sleeping in the wee hours of the morning,
4am, 5am, 6am, for the past few days.
I suffer if I don't change my sleep cycle now.
I HATE MORNING PAPERS

Since i'm having a slight migraine attack,
i decided take this chance and sleep earlier than i usually do.
I had a bottle of Vodka Cruiser (passionfruit) *!!yummy!!* before i visit dreamland.
So,
I turned in at about 1130pm.
Hoping to wake up at 8am and hit the books.
But instead,
i found myself awake for-only-god-knows-how-long,
and finally climbed out of bed at around 430am.
Jason can't sleep too.
Damn...
What's wrong with us???

And now i'm feeling tired...
Going for Macdonalds breakfast later.
Then maybe we'll head to Kmart and JB-hifi.
Hopefully i can sleep better tonight...

Long time...

It's been a long time since I've blogged.
Been really busy mugging after i came back to Aussie land.
Oh, Jason caught a really big fish the day before i came back.

Its a 'tailor'.

Not sure if i've spelled it right.

And i've decided to crop away my face before anyone of you guys puke.

Its 55cm long.

heehee trying to use my hand to measure it.

We pan-fried and ate it.

It's 'fishy' taste was quite strong.

The taste wasn't fantastic but its free anyway LOL

The next day,

we went to Coles to do some groceries shopping.

We took a carton of 'JUMBO' eggs since the 'EXTRA LARGE' ones were totally gone.

Then we went home to cook dinner and I decided to fry some eggs.

And guess what...

Two yokes in one egg.

Its only the second time i've encountered this in my whole almost 24 years of life.

But its Jason's virgin sight.

So mountain... *giggles*

hmm...

so does that mean that this egg will hatch two cute little twin chicks if its fertile?

Hang on,

let me check Google...

I found something here.

Three to five percent of eggs have double yolks. Double yolk eggs usually have smaller yokes in a bigger size egg. Double yoke eggs are often laid by heavier hens, or hens that have been overfed at the beginning of their laying cycle or very young inexperienced hens. The record for number of yokes in one egg is a whopping 9.

WOW...

this doesn't quite answer my question,

but i'm just too lazy to search further now...
