photo of the poor bride's back

I mentioned about the nutella drawings on the poor bride's back.
Then the groom have to lick the words and drawings off one by one.
Remember?
Here a photo of it...

Poor thing eh LOL
Another group actually got the bride to eat a banana that was been tied at the end of the groom's tie.
-_-''

SO mean right!!

I don't want to hold any wedding dinner!!!!!!!!!

It's such a waste of money, time and energy.

Imagine the amount of time and energy wasted on sourcing for the right restaurant/hotel for the dinner;

then the amount of money spent on it (not forgetting the beautician) and not being able to eat it yourself because you're busy changing dress and entertaining others;

Being forced to drink and do embarrassing acts;

Of all the people you need to entertain, you're lucky if you know 50% of them;

You have to smile throughout the night and shake hundreds of hands on a empty stomach while thanking them for attending your wedding.

It's MY wedding.

Shouldn't I be the one being entertained?

Congratulations to Ellis and Pauline...

I attended a lovely wedding on 02/12/2006.
The wedding of Ellis & Pauline.
I've been waiting for the photos for the past weeks and they're here at last!!!
Thank you Ellis!
(Sheena!!! I'm still waiting for your photos!!!)
It was a fun night.
Lots of memories came flowing back as I met up with people I haven't seen for years.
Everyone was really surprised to see me.
Other than the groom and Sheena of course.
Some couldn't even recognise me.
I couldn't recognise some of them either LOL
Or...only one to be exact heehee
Ellis neighbour...Jason.
Grown up to be a fine young man ;)
I can still remember and recognise everyone else.

The cheeky groom and the 3 beautiful bridesmates (Kelly, lydia & Sheena).
Yesyes...I know I looked ugly...shut up.
These mischievous bridesmaid sabotaged the newly wedded couple.
They bought some nutella and did some graffiti with it on the bride's back while she's in a sexy pose.
They wrote:
I LOVE YOU (in chinese characters),
with a huge heart and arrow,
together with smiley faces and all.
Then they got the groom the lick off the nutella from the bride's back,
word by word,
drawing by drawing.
LOL

Me and Sheena (she is also the chinese emcee for the wedding)

The mischievous gang,

and the shining couple of the night.

Like he said in his msn nick,

they are blissfully married...

Hearty congratulations to the Ellis and Pauline.

Wishing you both a very happy married life.

May love, happiness and good health be with you always.

Oh...not forgetting...

'Zao Shen Gui Zi'!!!!

.

.

.

More photos to come.

That is if i don't look too hideous in them heeheehee

workworkworkworkworkwork

Wow...
being work for the past three days.
It's a challenging job...physically challenging so to speak.
I have to walk soooo much that i developed 5 blisters on my feet on my first day of work.
So i rather walk bare-footed in the office now.
But still,
the soles of my feet is also feeling the abrasion caused by the rough carpeted floor.
*sigh*
I guess i need to get a pair of cheap thongs to wear in the office.
-_-''
I also haven't been getting sufficient sleep.
I quite used to the sleep-late-wake-up-late routine.
So i can't really get to sleep early at night but i have to wake up early for work.
Now my head is starting to hurt too.
I feel so brain dead.
And now I wonder if things i've just written make any sense at all.
Too brain-dead to proof read.
I need my beauty sleep...

.........................................................................

My mum's going to Taiwan with her friends tomorrow.
It's her first overseas trip without her family... i think.
It's going to be quiet without her daily naggings.
Hope everything will go well and hope she'll enjoy herself there.
Can't sent her to the airport as i'm working.

Bon voyage mum...
*hugz*

Melty Kisses

I got my friend to mail me some Meiji Melty Kisses from Hong Kong.
I wanted to get them for Sally and Angel for Christmas.
I thought they can't be found in Singapore.
And guess what...
They can now be found at Watsons for a mere $3 per box.
I bought it for more than twice that amount and in aussie dollars!!!!
*faints*
arrrggghhhhhhh....
*banging my head on the wall*

Stupid QUT!!!

Our results are out yesterday and i was shocked to see a '3' (low pass) for one of my units.
I know my scores and it's impossible to get only a '3'.
Moreover,
I'm suppose to get a '6' (distinction) for another unit but it only reflects a '5' (credit).
gggrrrrr....
and apparently some of my friends who studied the same unit as me had the same problem.
Darn!!!
This really makes me wonder about my past years results...

Charitable face?

I'm on my way to meet Sally at Orchard today and there was this one uncle.
He was walking beside me when he suddenly decided to take a 'U-turn' and nearly bumped into me.
Well,
instead of appologising,
he make a loud loud 'tsk',
as if to tell me i'm blocking his way and now he has to walk AROUND me.
WTF???
Sometimes i just don't understand what those people have in their tiny brains.

Plus,
i just realised today that i have a 'charitable' face.
I was approached by 3 different charity organisation for donation in just 1 hour.
It's not those kind of charity where you simply empty your purse and pockets of those heavy coins and 'get rid' of them by donating.
They are organisations that prefer 'notes'.
I did not manage to turn down the first guy and ended up 'buying' a cute key ring for a whooping $10.
This first guy uses the sweet talk technique where he keeping saying i'm really pretty and ask if i'm from Singapore blahblah.
I did not fall for that *duhh* and I did not exactly say i'll buy that key ring.
Ok it's getting confusing here...let me explain.
When this guys took out that key ring and told me it costs $10,
in which i replied, "oh...ookkk...."
(my ok doesn't mean 'ok i'll buy it' but 'Wwaaa!!! ok so this thing actually costs $10???).
But he immediately says 'Thank You' and passes me his pen to write my name and sign.
-_-"

The next guy is totally weird.
He approached me and started talking and talking and talking and talking.
Then he asked me for $10 to donate to his charity organisation.
I turned him down several times before he said,
"actually there is no minimum amount. You can donate $2, $5 etc but of course the more the merrier."
I was quite desperate to leave so told him i'll bring my friend here (of course i won't) and also started digging my pockets for coins to donate.
When he saw those coins, he said,
"what?!? coins ar? like that don't want already. Nevermind, me and you got fate. I'm sure i'll see you again. Give you a kiss."
(Yeah...that's pretty much what's Singlish is like)
And with that,
he gave me a flying kiss.
*faintssss*

The third was a girl and i'm already with Sally.
We're having our dinner at Long John's when this Filipino/Indonesian girl approach our table.
She looked at me...only at me and asked for a donation with a small note book.
Sally was sitting right there and she ONLY asked me.

Sooo...wow...
I do have a charitable face eh?
