ABSURD

I swear i'll never patronise this pet shop again.
This XXX pet shop, located at clementi central,
somewhere near NTUC,
is the worst pet shop I've ever been to.

A few days ago,
I went to that shop and bought a bag (7.5kg) of ANF chicken and rice meal for Tinky.
Knowing that Tinky is a rather fussy,
who will only eat dog food that comes in small bites,
I asked the sales lady if that pack of ANF is in small bites.
I asked her several times and she assurred me that it is.
(Tinky usually eats nutro not ANF but that shop does not carry it so I bought another brand instead)
That bag itself costed me $45.90 after a 10% discount.

A couple of days later,
I opened up the bag and realised that its BIG BITES NOT SMALL!!
Naturally, Tinky refuses to eat it.
I went down personally to the shop for an exchange
I told the blur blur shop boy about my concern and he said:
"I think its not possible to exchange but anyway I don't think the bite sizes are of a big difference."
(obviously he doesn't know anything about dogs and their food)

I told him i want to speak to his boss and he asked me to wait.
And i waited for a long time before he told me that they are in a meeting
*roll eyes*
So i left my number with him.

One lady called me back later that day (around 730pm)
and i explained to her my situation.
She then said she'll go retrieve my receipe and call me back.
But I did not receive her call after that.

The gave her time and waited patiently till the next day.
Almost 24hrs had past since she last called me.
I couldn't wait any longer and i called them instead
I explained nicely to her again (twice i think) because she wasn't listening to me as she was serving customers as the same time.
Then she said i can do an exchange and requested me to go down yesterday between 11-2pm.
She also told me to look for aaa.

And so, I took a cab down to clementi for the exchange.
I went in and asked for aaa, and I informed the lady who claimed that she's aaa that i'm here for the exchange.
She gave me a blank look and asked:" what exchange???"
My blood started to boil at that point.
That shows how responsible and efficient they are.

AGAIN i explained what happened.
After some verification,
she allowed the exchange but she do not have the 7.5kg of small bites
I told her:" fine, then give me 2packs of 3kgs and a pack of 1.5kg."
and....she said....
I have to pay more as small packs are more expensive!!!!!

I was really on the verge of shouting at her.
They expect me to pay for their bloody mistake!?!?!?
I already spent $13 on a cab for the exchange and now you want me to pay more!!!!
She then advice my to buy a 1.5kg first while she orders a 7.5kg for me.
But she added that I still have to pay more because the small bites are more expensive!!!

!!!!!!!!RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

She started explaining that the bag i returned was already open and that they won't be able to sell it....blahblahblah....
SO???
IS THAT MY BLOODY PROBLEM???
IT'S YOUR STAFF'S MISTAKE LADY.
NOT MINE.
YOU SHOULD PAY FOR YOUR MISTAKE.
NOT ME.

Luckily Jason was there to calm me down...
Jason was telling me to pay the extra and never to patronise the shop again.

BITCH...

If that's the way you do your business,
I promise you that you'll fail.

And now i have to go down one more time to pick up my 7.5kg.

This is so infuriating...
You guys tell me now.
Is it right for them to ask me to pay extra when its their mistake?

!!!

*PHEW*
Finally got the time to sit down and blog.
Another busy week flew by...

I still remember this particular bus driver (bus 28),
and the thought of him makes my blood boils.
He is the most reckless and irresponsible bus driver I've ever come across.
That stupid bus driver E-braked 7-8 times in the mere 25minutes journey!!
Can u imagine how dangerous that can be?

I was sitting on one of those long row of parallel seats,
and i was literally 'thrown' from one seat to the next !!!
What if there's an elderly or pregnant lady in the bus??
What if they thrown off their seats??

We, the passengers, entrust our precious and fragile lives in the hands of those drivers,
so the least they could do is to drive safely!

That driver was lucky that day.
I was rushing for time so i did not lodge a complain.

On the contrary,
I've met a really really nice bus driver before (bus 158)
That was back when i was working in Starhub.
Everyday, I'll take the same bus (with the same driver) to work.

One day,
i was a little late and i didn't realise it.
I was still walking slowly towards the bus-stop while busy SMSing.
Suddenly, i heard a gentle beep and i looked up.
I saw my usual bus moving slowly towards the bus-stop.
I thought i was going to miss it as i'm still quite a distant away from the bus-stop

But the bus just stopped at the bus-stop,
and the bus driver waited there for me!!
No one alight or board the bus,
and everyone was staring at me.
(they must be thinking that i'm related to this bus driver that's why he's waiting for me LOL)

That was so sweet,

i was really flattered!!

......................................................................................................

Another matter that i would like to bring up to everyone's attention.
Its the festive season now,
but its also the wallet-stealing season too.

Be alert of your surroundings and the people around you when go out,
especially to crowded areas.
My mum's wallet was stolen this morning at Lorong Ah-Soo market.
Her bag was cut from the side and she's not the first victim.

Apparently,
many people fell prey to those professional thiefs at that market.
So, warn your mother or relatives or anyone who goes to that market,
or anywhere crowded,
to be extra cautious and take good care of their belongings and valuables.

......................................................................................

Enjoy the long weekend ahead guys!!!

!!!!!!!!!!WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!

Its 2.19am now

It's hard not to gain weight
*shakes head*

I'm still waiting for my cake.
Jason owes me half a dozen slices of cakes by now.

Where's my TIRAMISU?
(i absolutely adore tiramisu)
Where's my CHEESECAKE?
(Jason loves them, esp CBTL's rashberry cheesecake)
Where's my CHOCOLATE & STRAWBERRY CAKE?

I WANT TO EAT CAKES!!!!

Anyone knows of any place that sells terrific tiramisu and cheesecakes???

lonely...

Its been a while since i last blog.
I logged in to my msn and realised I've got 100 over unread mails...
Only a small portion are from my friends.
The power of junk mails...hate them.

Jason's away in Malaysia fishing.
Although its only for a day,
it felt like he's been away for ages.
Hope he enjoyed himself at the kelong...
He's so excited about the trip.

Damn...there's a stupid ant running cross my laptop
and i can't seem to be able to remove it...arrgghhhh

Anyway,
we caught a movie on Tuesday.

Another crappydraggywasteofmytimeandmoney show.

It's NOT scary at all.

People are giggling away throughout the whole show.

The whole movie lasted for 1hr 37min,

but it felt like a 2hr 15min show.

Go watch it if you're totally bored and has got nothing better to do.

I'll be going back in exactly a month's time

I'm not very excited about returning

(though i miss the freedom i have over there hehehe)

but I do worry about our apartment constantly.

Hope everything's fine...

I'm going to miss everything here,

food, tinky, family, friends, etc

busy...

I've been so so busy recently.
Haven't got much time to blog.
Not to say meet up with my friends, even for mahjong session.
I want to spend more time with my grandma.
Sorry guys...hope you'll understand.

Oh, I've booked my air tickets.
It'll be on the 19th of Feb.

.....................................................................................

Yesterday, while i was on my way home, in a bus,
I saw this Indian couple with a child (not more then 1+yrs old i reckon).
The mother and child were sitting on the seats facing the rear of the bus,
while the father was sitting exactly opposite them.
I was sitting just two seats away behind the father.
Then i realised while both the parents were day-dreaming or enjoying the scenery,
the child was happily occupying herself by cleaning the window ledge with her tongue.
*PUKE*

I was wondering why didn't the parents pay attention to the child at all.
They're not even holding on to her.
What if the child falls?
And sure enough,
soon after,
the bus driver hit on the brakes,
and.......yes,
the child fell.
Real hard onto the floor *BUMP*
*shakes head*

The father didn't even bother to pick up the child immediately,
or even feel the child's body for any injury or whatsoever...
I really sympathize the poor child to have such irresponsible parents...

................................................................................

I watched Narnia the other day with Jason and James.

It's a typical kiddie show,

but it wasn't too bad though.

but the thought of a child,

equipped only with a sword and shield,

killing a monster 3x his size,

with just a couple of swings was ridiculous LOL

And the girl only managed to use her bow and arrow ONCE...how pathetic

..............................................

I've got so many complains,

or should i say,

my mum's got so many complains about my maid.

I'll talk about them another day.

Got to go to bed now...

I'm all tuckered out...nitez

movies

Watched 'The Dark' yesterday.

It was disappointing...

The beginning of the show was rather exciting.

But the show gets quite draggy towards the end.

(I even heard someone snoring ssooo loudly half way through the show!)

Not the mention, I HATE THE ENDING...

When we were on the way out of the cinema,

I overheard everyone asking each other,

"Why is this so and why is that so? I don't understand the movie at all!!"

I shall give the movie 2 stars out of 5...

(sign...what a waste of $9.50)

.................................................................................

I watch 'The Family Stone' last week.

It was a good show,

though the plot was relatively simple and straight-forward.

Still, it was funny and heart-warming.

It's the perfect Christmasy show.

In contrast to 'The Dark',

the ending was good.

3 1/2 stars for this show!!

.......................................................................................

There aren't any good movies recently.

I still anxiously waiting for all these movies...

TGIF!!!

*PHEW*
The weekend is here at last!!!
The past two days felt like weeks to me...
I was buried in piles and piles of paper work.

No, not removing staples.
It was something else.
Anyway, I was slaving myself away,
working doggedly,
when sally came up to me and told me that
I have to finish 4 boxes per day!!!

That was totally impossible!!
The hardworking me,
(to the point that i only go to the toilet when I really really need to go)
only managed to finish 2 boxes at the end of the day.

Then she reminded me about the target again.
I looked at her and asked her,
"Have you done this before?"
(thinking she might have done 4boxes in a day before, hoping to get some tips)
then she gave me her famous cheeky grin and said,
"no..."

*bish*

Haiz...
That's the common problem in most companies.
People of higher rank always 'overestimate' workers of lower rank,
working speed especially,
hence setting targets at too high a level.

I used to work in this XXX company.
They expect their workers to work to the point of no return.
For example, the set their daily target so high
that in order for one to hit the target,
he/she needs to talk like a machine gun,
and hangs up before the customer even got the chance to say bye.

That is so rude.
We ended up with tons of complains about rudeness,
thereby wasting time listening to customer's complains,
threats, then try to calm them down and apologise.
How pathetic...

Worst still,
with that target,
some employees even refuse to go to the toilet until lunch time,
then they will have a quick 30mins lunch and resume working.
Unless there is really a need for them to visit the toilet,
they will walk there so quickly (almost running),
and come back in record time.
Why?
Because as long as they are not working,
also known as idle time, is recorded.
If they are gone for too long,
they will be questioned.

{No, i'm not one of those who will torture myself just to hit the target}

I seriously think that all employees should exchange jobs for a couple of days,
in order for all to have a better understanding of each other's job,
and not take things for granted.

Employees or employers should respect each other,
understand that we are humans, not robots,
and set goals that are achievable,
without the need to torture oneself...

1st day...

My first day of work was amazing.
Guess what i did the whole day...
from 9am-5.30pm (minus 1hr lunch),
.
.
.
.
.
.
all i did was to remove staples from stacks and stacks of papers!!
I have to continue doing that tomorrow...
I can't believe i can sit through the boring 7 1/2 hrs...
removing staples.
After I'd done removing the staples from those never-ending stacks of papers,
I'm going to sit by the shredder and shred those documents away...
....zzZZZzzzZZzzzzzz....

Both Angel and Jason said, "good what. Got paid to sit down."
-_-
Quite true in a way...LOL

I'm so freaking exhausted now.
Not due to the exciting job of removing staples,
but because i can't sleep last night!!

Man...i really need to change my sleeping pattern fast.

Nitez people.

P/S: Waiwah, cheer up.
I know its hard but its for the best.
Take care my friend.
Remember, i'm just a phone call away.

*clapclaps*

I applaud xiaxue on her post on molesting.
Girls out there really need to open up their eyes when they go out,
especially to those places with lots of foreign workers.
I too had some experience with those workers especially blangahs.
Although not to the extend of being flashed or to witness the sight of masturbating individuals in public areas.
I tend to give them the 'get-the-fuck-away-from-me' look when i'm out nowadays.
That 'look' seems to work pretty well...LOL

Staring incidents had happened on me one too many times.
As for physically,
I still remember this particular day when i was walking home at night.
I was...erm...i can't remember how old am i then but that happened when i was in poly *i think*
So i was crossing the bridge and was walking on the extreme left side of the bridge.
I saw 2 blangahs walking in opposite direction and they are walk on the the other extreme side of the bridge.
I ignored them and continued walking
When we getting nearing to each other, one of the blangahs suddenly came slamming his whole damn body onto me and ran off.
That happened so quickly that i don't even have the time to react.
The other blangah just stared at me and walked off.

Bloody hell...
Their boss ought to buy them each a plastic, inflatable doll.
The area where i live has quite a big community of blangahs roaming around at night,
drinking along back alleys in small groups and some are even caught taking drugs.
Lucky me, I have Jason to send me home everyday at night.
I once went to a new year's countdown at Suntec (millennium),
and from then onwards,
I never ever join in any countdown events at any crowded places.
Basically, if you (girls) feels like being touch anywhere and everywhere,
feel free to go to these countdown events.

There's another incident when i was at home alone with Tinky at night.
I don't remember where my brothers and mum were,
but my dad was out, playing squash with his friends.
I was downstairs and then i hard a soft knocking on the back door.
I panicked...thinking it was some...well you know.
I immediately went upstairs and calmed myself down.
I then went down again as i managed to convince myself it was my imagination.
Once i was down, the knocking begins again.
The blangah made some sounds *i think* and that was when i realised that the something i imagined was actually a blangah!!
Luckily my dad came home soon after,
I told my dad and he switched on the lights downstairs and proceeded upstairs to the balcony quietly. (So that he won't be able to see us when we go upstairs)
Then he saw a bloody blangah climbing on the back door looking into our house.
I guess he got a shock of his life when my dad shouted at him and scrambled off.
LOL

The next incident is a case of the peeping tom.
We are not aware of this peeping tom at all until one day,
my mum saw this hand-print (obviously a man's) on the wall

My toilet's window is not a see through kind so we deemed that we're not the victim.

According to my mum's 'investigation',

my neighbour's maid usually bath at night and with the toilet's window open slightly.

We warned the maid but we never get to catch the peeping tom red handed.

Well, what can i say...

alot of them are horny bastards?

Girls out there,

just be more street-wise and don't allow any males,

be it foreign or local,

to take advantage of you.

If anything happens, just scream your lungs out.

As for me, screaming is not my forte.

I'll go straight for their balls and let them do the screaming...
