So far so good...

It's day 3 in Singapore now and it is so humid...so hot...
Not that I've never experienced Singapore weather before,
but i'm kind of used to Brizzie's dry weather.
Bathed twice and washed my face four time a day but i'm still feeling so sticky, so oily, so smelly.

I wrote a whole lot of things and somehow i deleted it all,
and i'm only left with that short paragraph on top.
gggrrrrrr.
lazy to retype.
Why can't blogspot have a undo function???

my new home...

Man....

was calculating the duration of my holidays this summer,
and because my exams ended real early,
I have almost 4months holiday!!!!!
YIPEEE!!!!
Looking forward to head back to Singapore.
Miss all my friends, family and Tinky.

I will be attending Zai's wedding when i go back.
It's been such a long while since i last met him.
Sheena too.
Miss all of them heaps.
hhmmm....i guess i won't be able to buy a new dress for Zai's wedding.
No work = No money = :(
Hope i can get a part-time job when i get back.
I'll have to make do with what i've got in my wardrobe for now.

Right now,
Im busy packing my luggage.
So many things to bring back,
yet so little space and weight.
I almost change my flight because Jason has class on the day i'm flying off.
But it's all fully booked till one week later.
Luckily they've got online check-in now.
Then i won't have to reach the airport as early.

Oh,
here's some pics of our new place.
Don't expect anything fanciful,
keep in mind we're international students,
so all our furnitures look kind of dodgy.

It's huge compared to our previous place.

It's 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms.

Heeeheeeee our brand new washing machine and very first front loader.

And compared to the old washing machine in our previous place,

it is sosososososososo much quieter...i like... :D

The view from our balcony is fantastic too.

Here the balcony view of our old place.

Balcony view from our new place.

Huge difference eh?

Now i feel so much calmer and not so bogged down when i get home.

Ok,

i got to go relax and read my Jodi Picoult for a while before preparing dinner.

Later peepz...

karma...

Do you guys believe in KARMA?
I always believed in karma but it proved me wrong at times.
But right now,
this very second,
I seriously do believe in karma...
No,
i'm not the one facing the 'effects' of karma.
Will not elaborate on this matter here.
Sally and Angel,
I'll fill you guys up when i go back k.

p/s:
NO...i'm not laughing at this person nor am i jumping with joy at this piece of news.
But i am glad that this person finally understand and experienced first-hand what he had done many years ago and how much hurt and grief he caused. Although i must say the 'incident' that happened many years ago is a indeed blessing in disguise...

Rain...

Queensland is facing a dought problem.
So some strict restrictions on water usage have been implemented.
No sprinkling and hosing.
Washing and watering are allowed only with the use of a bucket/watering can,
on allocated time and day of the week.
So Queensland's leaders have been praying for rain.
Rain here comes and goes so quickly.
When it rain,
it'll rain so heavily and seldom last for a long time.
They usually last for only 5-30 minutes.
Total opposite from Singapore,
which, during the monsoon season,
will only STOP for 5-30 minutes.

Few hours ago,
brisbane rained,
heavily...with a little hail.

And then it's gone...it lasted at most...20minutes??
I was expecting a hail storm but was disappointed,
although some houses have been destroyed by that short heavy rainfall
(according to the news).

We had a hail storm last year.
I reached home just 5 minutes before the storm hits brisbane.
Jason was lucky too.
He managed to turned into a sheltered carpark at the start of the hail storm.
It was quite bad.
Trucks stuck in the middle of the road,
properties destroyed,
car with multiple dents on their roof tops.
It was somewhat 'fun' though,
not that i'm mean and evil,
but because it looked like snow and i've never seen snow (and hail of course) before.
It's funny when you see 'hailmans' along the pavements the next day.
Too bad I did not take photos of the hail last year.

..........................................

On a whole different note,
we went out a couple of days ago to get those bed linens and stuffs.
The strong-full-on-UV-rays-of-sun must have hit me hard.
I felt the start of a migraine coming.
So instead of cooking dinner,
we decided to get Subway for dinner!!!!!
I was like...'what do i say what do i say????"
"how do i order?? What should i choose???"
There's so many choices to make,
from the kind of bread, to the meat, to the veges then the sauce.
From there,
my migraine got from bad to worse,
i even feel a little nauseous...stupid migraine.

muahahahahahahahaha

Me very first subway in me whole life.

I wasn't too bad considering that i ate it after it got cold.

yayayayaya

call me a mountain turtle...or...or...whatever.

There's always a first time to everything.

:p

do you look when you eat???

We went out to chinatown for a late dinner last night.
And ordered their yummy congee to take away
(because they slash the congee's price to less than half after 10pm).
I ordered their chicken congee and Jason ordered beef.
He ate his congee as supper last night
and i just heated mine up for brunch...now.
I was stirring through the congee and was about to eat when i saw something...

Found them in my congee and not too sure what are they.

I tend to look at my food when i eat.

That's why i've found many things in my food before.

There was once...huh..what?

Can't see the 'insects' properly?

ok...

Here's a better one.

They looked pretty much like baby cockroaches to me,

with feelers and all.

Found 3 in total and can't bring myself to continue to look for more.

Jason ate his congee last night.

I wonder if he consumed any cockroaches *puke*

Back to my examples of other occasions where i see 'things' in my food.

Many many years ago,

in Singapore,

i ordered prawn noodle soup.

(p/s: The soup's dark in color)

Ate happily and finished everything.

Was enjoying the soup towards the end and...

taaadaaaaa....

i saw a huge cockroach leg at the bottom of the bowl.

-_-"

A couple of years ago (well...almost),

in Brizzie,

also in chinatown but another eating place,

i ordered their noodle soup.

They have the usual - meat, vegetables and noodles (duhhh).

I ate and ate and ate and ate.

I was about to bit into a chunk of bok choi when i saw something,

some...thing...between the layers of bok choi.

Some...........thing....white.....and.....fat.....and....big...

It's a worm.

I've never seen a white vegetable worm before,

not to mention the size of it.

I nearly puke.

Called the waiter and he went -_-"

He called the chief out the showed the him the worm.

I told him i don't want a replacement,

because

1. i ate 2/3 of the food already

2. can't bring myself to eat after the sight of the worm in my food.

So all the chief said to the waiter was,

"you know what to do right?

don't charge her for the bowl of noodles but charge her for the rest (which is a pathetic cup of hot chinese tea)"

No apologies, no look of guilt, no nothing...

Well...that was the last time i eat at that place.

There's so many other encounters with 'things' in my food.

Can't remember them all.

Hope i didn't spoil anyone's appetite LOL

BIATCH...!!!!

We booked a study room in the library.
We reached there and saw 2 girls (aussies) in the room that we've booked.
I said *nicely*,
"Hi, we've booked this room..."
Girl A looked at Girl B and asked,
"Isn't this the room that we book???"
Girl B said,
"No, we booked the room next door."
Girl B then asked me (without looking at me *yeah i know...how rude can one get*),
"Are there people next door?"
Me,
"yeah"
Girl B (still refused to look at me when she talked),
"If you can get them to move out then we're willing to move out."
(Me thinking: WTF??? You want ME to do it for YOU???
that's your problem not mine!!!)
Me *still speaking nicely but firmly*,
"No, i'm afraid you'll have to do that yourself."
Both girls went silence for a few seconds,
then girl A said,
"I'll do it..."

Jeez...
how retarded can that Girl B get?!?!?!?!
It's obvious that she is being a typical racist biatch.
But do you think i'm as stupid as you???
And say..."Sure i'll be most happy to do it for you."
*roll eyes*
Makes me wonder what kind of family you're being brought up in.
Moron...

Just before they move over,
Girl B tried to sound smart and said,
"you know...some people are nicer when they ask you to move blahblahblah..."
-_-"
I spoke to you NICELY if you haven't notice...
Oh, i forgot,
you're living a your own world - the realm of bitches...i believe
Seriously...
quit trying to tell me that you're a retard.
I can overlook you guys not apologising,
but you, being a racist dimwitted whore,
is...what can i say...
incongruous??

*taking deep breath(s)...inhale...exhale...counting from 1 to 10...*
Alright alright...i'm calmer already...
