Depressed...

I feel so depressed...i collected back one of my assignments yesterday and i failed....4/10...
This is the first time i've failed an assignment and i feel that i've being marked down rather unfairly...i started to curse...i'm so clouded with rage...even lost my appetite for the delicious Hungry Jack's burger...

I'll be calling up my tutor and talk to her about this assignment and try to get what i think i deserve, even though this piece of assignment is only 10% of my overall results.
Wish me luck...

.....................................................................................................................

Jason and I decided to catch a movie...maybe that will cheer me up. Before the movie, we went for a drink and snack, and i feed lots of cute little ducks. I had the camera with me but i forgot to take some pictures. That cheered me up a little...

Then we caught the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". It is based on a true story.

Jennifer Carpenter is incredible. Damn good an actress she is one...

I got curious after the show and went home to find out about the The Real Emily Rose.

Go watch the movie if you got the time...its a simple story but it makes me wonder about 'things'...

Inefficiency...

I received a call yesterday, from Toowong library....
"Hi, I'm calling from Toowong library. The book you borrowed on fishing just came in the chute today and the transparent cover, which has the bar code on it, is missing. Do you have the cover with you?"
I was thinking....WTF???????

Firstly, i borrowed those library books during my holiday in June and returned them exactly on the due date, which was 28 days after i borrowed them.
SO how is it possible for you to receive it only yesterday???

Secondly, I ask her to check the records again, and she told me she can't cause it is not overdue yet?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Excuse me, I borrowed those books in June and its October now and you say it is not overdue yet?? That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I ask if its possible that they've got two of the exact same book and they've mistaken me as the borrower of the second book? They claim that they only got one of that book....damn it...
I ask Jason if he's seen any transparent cover..."No, we had returned everything in the exact condition as we've borrowed the books."
(Jason is getting real mad at the person talking to me now; how can she just call and question me without checking the system properly? It is so obvious that there is something wrong with their system!)

After minutes of talking and insisting that I'd returned everything in original condition months ago, she suddenly says, "it's ok, thanks...".

Hello...i think you owe me an apology for questioning me when its your mistake. I don't care whether its the system fault or you overlooked something, or otherwise, I don't appreciate getting calls from people to question me and hang up before clarifying things and apologising.

Luckily she talked to me in a calm manner, if it is otherwise, I do not care who you are, whether I am a minority in your country or vice versa, you will get it from me...

......................................................................................................

Another matter....It's regarding my unit enrolments for my 3rd and 4th semesters. I've sent out so many emails and i only receive 4 replies out of the 8 emails sent.

Anyway, i called up one of my course coordinator and met up with him yesterday to clarify things. But i still got ONE question pending from the faculty of business. It is a simple question and I need their answer in order to proceed with my enrolment!!!!!

Why can't they reply me?? I've sent 2 emails to the unit coordinator since last week and to date, no reply...now i'm trying to send an email to the Director Undergraduate Studies in business faculty but the stupid server is down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just my luck...WHY...haiz...

Haiz...there's soo much to study, yet soo limited space in my pathetic brain...
I don't understand how some people can just read through the notes and text, and remember theories as if they were a 500GB hard drive...

Anyway, just for a laugh...
I know most people have watched it before, I'd watched it 3-4times....ok Mr Rocker Qua watched it like 10 times? Maybe 20 times?
This is for the benefit for those who haven't watch it before...sit back, relax...and get ready to laugh a good whole 45mins...

arrggghhhh...!!!!

Talking about insects...we saw this huge spider in our house when we came back from groceries shopping.

Both of us freaked out *LOL*. okok i exaggerated...but it is quite big...to me at least.

All the windows and doors are lined with insect screen (wire mesh) so i don't know how and where the hell did it climb in from...

Now the question is....is there only one of them or is there more in the house????????????????????????????

Damn...right...i guess i'm glad that its not a redback spider

Me and Jason, each armed with a can of baygon, sprayed at it for a good 30sec and watch it die slowly...wahahahaha

I ended up using half a can of carpet deodorizer to eliminate the 'wonderful' baygon smell on the carpet...

Stupid spider....

PIZZA!!!!!

Yay!!! Had pizza for dinner tonight.
I was plain lazy to cook anyway.

I wasn't a big fan of pizza until i came over and try Domino's Pizza.

Its simply delicious!! And its cheap!! It cost about $7.90 (because i always order the chicken which has an additional charge of $1.95, else it only cost $5.95!!!) for a large pizza!!!

1 pizza = 3 meals for me *hehehe*

You can never get such a good price in Singapore (at least to my knowledge). Let me know if i'm wrong.

Oh...i've taken a couple of pictures on my way to school today.

See!! I told you that was a steep slope! After this slope, there's still stairs to climb.

But i got use to it anyway...

ok...got to go study again...

rain...

Its been raining these few days...makes me so sleepy.
I felt so relived that I have handed in my last assignment today.
So now I can fully concentrate on my exams...and i just realized I’ve got lots of white hair!!!
I really need to dye my hair when i go back.
Plus, my complexion is pathetic. I'm breaking out like crazy.
Pimples, pimples and pimples....arrgghhhh...*sob*

Pictures of my home in Brizzie...

That's a picture of Tinky when she's 3 months old and a super cute & soft hippo given to me by Sean for Christmas!!

hehe I only took a picture of how my home looked like when you step in. The rest of the home is in a total mess kekeke.

Lastly, my study table!! Can you see the 2 photos right on top of my laptop? One of them is the family photo that I’m talking about which 'motivates' me to study *LOL*

Now, Brizzie roads are hilly (as you can see).

The first pic is part of my school. It is a very steep slope, which i treat it as an 'exercise' when i go to school.

You cannot really see how steep the slope in the pic is. I'll take a better one next time hehehe.

The rest are pics taken on my way home from school. The weather is really gloomy and wet these few days.

Oh well...have to get some sleep...*yawns* the weather is just perfect for sleeping...good night people...

Crazy!!!

Damn...this semester's work is driving me crazy.
Not forgetting I still have other responsibilities other than school work.
Feel so tired...

Some of the subjects are so boring, especially F&N...she (the lecturer) never put up the lecture slides in time for the students to print them out and bring them to the lecture. I hate going to class without the lecture notes...and she is so boring!! The worst thing is that she likes to test people on the tiniest information in the book (as in things that people won't normally notice). Crap ... now I have to study every single word in the text.

Then there's the subject 'management, people and organization' which took up a hell lot of my time due to the assignment. We are given roles in the group assignment and the 'CEO' of the group simply did not contribute at all. Okok the only thing he contributed was ideas. WTF? And yet he keeps saying that a CEO's role is to make sure we do our work and everything is going smoothly. I'm not saying all Aussie are lazy, I've met really hardworking ones but so far, he's the top of the list for laziness.

Next, the subject 'health, culture and society'; This is a real interesting unit but my presentation mate withdrew from this unit without informing me until 2 weeks before the assignment is due! Geez...this happened to me last semester and now too?!?! Why can't people learn to be more responsible? It doesn't take up a lot of time and strength to inform me before I questioned her in an email right? Luckily I found another girl in the same situation as me and we did the presentation and assignment together. Hope this won't happen to me anymore…

Lastly, the subject 'psychology'; It's an interesting subject too but the amount of readings I have to do really drain my time away.

I can't wait for this semester to be over ...

Pics!!

Here's how the crispy skin chicken looked like!!

Yummy!!! Super oily so i call it the 'once-in-a-while-indulgence'. Did not take pic of the main dish, which is the chili of course *LOL*.

Birthday roses from Jason, they've yet to bloom that's why it looked so sparse. Forgot to take pics of it when they bloomed :( and i also forgotten to take the birthday cake!

I also want to thank Sally and Angel for the lovely present they mailed to me!!! Thank you!! I like!!!

Wooo...look at my hair!! Damn long...Got to do some major haircut after going back to Sg.

Oh...I also have to do some serious workout when i'm back too...have been sitting and sitting and sitting in brizzie...fats bulging from all around *Ugly!!*

Hhmmm...what else...

1. Spent quality time with my family and Tinky.

2. Meet up with friends.

3. Work (provided someone is willing to employ me hehehe)

4. Cut and dye hair

5. Exercise

6. Shop

7. Eat!! I want to eat all the different kinds of food in Sg before i go back!! Mee soto, mee siam, prawn noodles, ban mian, fried carrot cake, laksa, loh mee, chili kangkong, etcetc...OMG *drool...*

Think that's about it. Can't really think now. Only slept for 3hrs....zzZZZZzzzzZZzzzz

Bali Bombings

Reading the news about the Bali bombings on CNN saddens me. Is it really that hard for everyone to live in peace and harmony? Do they really rejoice over the death of so many innocent lives? I cannot understand why people create grief upon one another over and over again...

My deepest condolence to all victims out there...
