pissed off...

I've calmed down.
So much to complain about that I don't know where to start.
Ok...read on only if you've nothing better to do than to listening to me grumbling like a 70 year old.

I am working with two guys (one from Burma, other an aussie) for one of my assignment.
I've never work with either of them before.
But anyway,
it's the aussie who pissed me off.

Firstly,
whenever he talk,
he ONLY talk to the other guy and i'm like...invisible.
For example, when we're sitting in a row and he's in the middle,
he'll turn to the other guy and discuss about the assignment.
And me?
There straining my ears...trying to hear what he's saying...what else.
Jason says it's a guy thing...
What guy thing?
This 'guy thing' sounds more like gender stereotyping.
But i overlooked this matter.
Maybe he just feel uncomfortable talking to a asian girl.
*shrugs*

What truely ticked me off was that he made me 'looked' bad.
Let me explain.

Our tutor was very interested in the assignment that we're working on.
So she wanted us to add her into our emails and update her of our progress.
The aussie,
whom by far only sent out one email with more than 2 sentances and all his emails are full of spelling mistakes,
suddenly wrote a email that reads like an essay (without any spelling mistakes...amazing) to all of us.

Well,
this is the first email which our tutor is being included into.
So obviously he's trying to impress the tutor and 'act' like he's the leader of the group.
That's totally fine with me.
But in his email,
after his whole chunk of what-he-think-we-should-do and his ideas,
he ended the email stating,
(addressing to me)
"if you wouldn’t mind attempting to find some more information as to blahblahblahblah."
And the email ended.

If you are the tutor, would you think that i haven't been doing anything compared to the two of them, that's why he 'allocated' something for me to do and nothing to either one of them?

FACT:

1) I have been the one researching for all the information.
2) all his 'what-he-think-we-should-do' has already been researched and done by me.
3) all he has done by far was talk...(someone should teach him Bartley's moto: deeds not words).

And so i wrote an email,
which reads like an essay too,
back to everyone (including the tutor) which was kind of sarcastic.
Telling him what he said was already being researched by me weeks ago,
and that all those info he wanted me to find should be shared among all of us and not just me.
With that, i attached my findings for the tutor's reference.
(and to clear my name... LOL)
Then he replied,

"Oh great. Well sorry I dont recall getting this information or seeing it...yadayada...I hadn,t realised that you found all this information...yadayada...Along with the information L and myself have found we should have a good enough base to get started..."

FACT:

1) The word document with all my findings that i attached in the last email, was probably the THIRD or FOURTH time i send it out to both of them.
2) I even brought my findings to the tutorials and showed it to them.
3) He acknowledges whenever i send my findings to them, so obviously he received them.
4) Obviously, he did not read my findings, and if he did, he's trying to take credit for them.
5) All he's trying to do now is 'saving face' or whatever he's left with.
6) Information you've found...what information???

So i replied asking him to send me all the info he has found.

He replied,
"I cant as yet as they are all hard copies...when i find them again i will send u the links."

Ok...shall give him the benefit of doubt,
so hopefully he'll send me the links soon.
He did bring something to the tutorial which he showed to the other guy ONLY.
I do remember the tutor saying that it's not a good article that's all.
I'll see what he's got next week.
Hopefully he'll have something substantial.

There...i've said it.
Although it's the simplified version,
i feel much better now.

Is it because i'm asian or do i look innocent or maybe even 'bullyable'?
Somebody please enlighten me...

Such things just make me think twice about applying for an Australian PR...
